Better Health Outcomes for Seniors in MSHO

A CMS study found that Minnesota seniors enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid in one integrated program have better health outcomes than those enrolled only in Medicaid.

Older adults served by the Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO) program were more likely to receive primary health care and less likely to end up in the hospital. They also had fewer and shorter hospital stays and were more likely to receive home- and community-based long-term care services.

South Country Health Alliance is pleased to offer our MSHO program called SeniorCare Complete to members. SeniorCare Complete is rated a 4.5 out of 5 stars health plan and was named a 2016 Best Medicare Advantage Plan.
