Community Education Classes: Driver Education Course’s – Classroom Education and Behind the Wheel, Basketball/ Volleyball/ Softball Camps & Classes, Swimming Lessons, t-ball, flag football, learn to skate. Community Education participation scholarship does apply to safety classes such as first-aid/CPR, firearm safety, camping safety, ATV safety and behind the wheel courses if the focus is on safety training and the class is taught by a certified instructor.  Community Education classes that promote health, safety, skill-building, and enhance interest in positive lifestyle activities.

ECFE Classes: Field trips to apple orchards, library classes, mommy & me classes, toddler time classes, preschool readiness classes (could be up to a $15 value in some cases), pregnancy classes- preparing for baby, family classes (ages birth to 5 years old). ECFE classes that are family-oriented classes that promote positive parenting and the healthy development of children

Pregnancy & Childbirth education participation scholarship applies to the following class topics:

• Basic childbirth education
• Childbirth refresher
• Cesarean section birth
• Vaginal birth after cesarean
• Prevention of preterm birth
• Infant care/postpartum care
• Breastfeeding
• Infant CPR
• First aid for childhood emergencies

Vouchers:
60 days from Service Date = Valid for reward
Example: if appointment (Screening) is 01/10/2022, voucher must be back to South Country by 3/10/2022

BeActive Program: we reimburse AbilityCare and SeniorCare Complete members up to $20.00 a month, without going to the gym. We also reimburse SharedCare, SingleCare and MSC+ members when they visit the gym at least 4 times a month and you will get up to $20.00 monthly when you are an active/enrolled member with South County.

Community Education Classes: Classes that involve the use of alcohol, risky classes such as rock climbing, parachuting, scuba diving, etc.

ECFE Classes: Any member over the age of 5 years old except for the coverage of a parent (if attending course with student)

BeActive Program: Families and Children (PMAP) or MinnesotaCare members. The program only covers SeniorCare Complete, AbilityCare, SharedCare, SingleCare and MSC+.

Voucher: Past 60 days from Service Date = not Valid for reward

• Example: if appointment (Screening) is 01/10/2022 and voucher is returned to South Country by 01/15/2022 its expired

Yes, see above. The individual participating in the pregnancy or childbirth education class must be enrolled with South Country at the time of class registration.

Yes, South Country will pay specific registration fees associated with ECFE classes or family-oriented special events, for South Country members, enrolled at the date of service. Including; parent/child component within the classroom setting during each class/event session, and; Target newborn to kindergarten age children.

NO, there is no annual limit to the number of ECFE classes allotted per member, per year.

South Country will only reimburse 5 classes per year, up to $15 a class.

Specific to Mora Area Youth Recreation Association (MAYRA) Pilot Program in Kanabec County - South Country will pay up to $25 of registration fees for up to 3 classes per calendar year that are associated with MAYRA.  All other community education eligibility requirements apply.

Yes, SCHA will pay for the class.

No. Sibling care or similar programs offered by ECFE in which siblings of class participants receive childcare services (while parent & sibling are in class) do not qualify for South Country's scholarship program.
