Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant supports the work of the department team by performing a range of administrative office duties including, but not limited to: program specific data entry and verification, maintaining files and records,  creating spreadsheets, memos, letters, reports, and other administrative forms using Microsoft Office programs. The Admin. Assistant also organizes overall logistics for department and committee meetings, schedules appointments, and coordinates a large volume of faxes, emails, and other correspondence.

Qualification needed

Required: High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of three years progressively more responsible administrative support experience.

Preferred: Business Administration or Office Management training in a business or vocational school; Previous healthcare experience in related area, such as a clinic or other health professional office setting, County Social Services or Public Health, or health plan/HMO.

Compliance Auditor

The Compliance Auditor is responsible for the development, implementation, and day-to-day management of the oversight, monitoring and auditing of external entities and internal business functions, ensuring compliance with applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.  This position is also responsible for coordination of external audits performed on the organization by regulators, and for general risk assessments of organizational compliance processes and performance.

Provider Relations Representative

The Provider Relations Representative will develop and maintain positive working relationships with South Country providers (contract and non-contract), serve as the primary liaison between providers, staff, county representatives and third-party administrators in all matters pertaining to or affecting provider relationships.

Qualification needed

Required: Associate degree in health care or business related; at least 3 years’ experience in a health care delivery setting (i.e. physician group practice, health insurance, HMO or community service agency);

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in health care or business-related field preferred.  Solid understanding of the local provider community and competing managed care organizations; Knowledge of claims adjudication process, general coding and billing rules; Knowledge of both State Public Programs and Medicare products preferred.

Member Services Specialist (Part-time)

As the primary point of contact in our Call Center, the Member Services Specialist assists members telephonically with issues involving enrollment, transportation, benefit questions, coverage limits, payments, claims, and those matters that involve provider networks.

The position hours are from 8 a.m. -12 p.m. M-F, with flexibility to work additional hours, including limited weekends during open enrollment (October thru March) and holidays.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of practical experience in customer service, and call center experience required.
Preferred: Bilingual; Post high school education in business; Healthcare or insurance experience; Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare rules.

Compliance Analyst
