This website is intended to provide general information for our members, member counties and providers. It is not intended to collect personally identifiable information on visitors. Your IP address is logged in our system automatically, but it is used only for statistical purposes and is not used to track your session or linked to anything that would make you personally identifiable.

Note: We are responsible only for this site. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of any sites linked here.

Software Translations

The South Country Health Alliance (South Country) website may be translated for your convenience using software powered by Google Translate, a free online language translation service that can translate text and web pages into different languages. No automated translation is perfect nor is it intended to replace human translators. South Country does not guarantee the accuracy of the software translated text. Some pages may not be accurately translated due to the limitations of the translation software. Text in images, PDF files, Word documents or other document types cannot be translated. South Country accepts no responsibility and disclaims any and all liability for damages that may occur due to incorrect translations rendered by software translation services, including Google Translate. The use of the translation links on South Country’s website shall be at the user's sole risk and are provided as a convenience only, and any third-party information and/or content is in no way an affiliation, endorsement, support or approval of the third-party, or the third-party service, by South Country.
The official text of the South Country website is the English language version. Any discrepancies or differences created in translations are not binding and have no legal effect for compliance or enforcement purposes.
Users are reminded that links to translated versions of selected information can also be found on South Country’s English language website. These materials have been translated by professional translators, and do not require the use of Google Translate, or any other third-party service.

Social Media Policy

This policy is for South Country Health Alliance and applies to all social media, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+, websites and blogs.

Social Media is recognized as a means to create a constructive dialogue with individuals communicating about South Country, answering questions and improving health outcomes and wellness. South Country welcomes your interactions!

When you view and/or post on any social media site you are accepting, without limitation, the terms of use. Do not view nor post to the social media sites if you do not agree to these terms. Be mindful of the fact that the internet is not anonymous. Published information is likely to exist for a long time. You assume all responsibility related to the security, privacy, and confidentiality risks inherent with your posting of any content to a social media site.

We trust and expect individuals to use good personal and professional judgement at all times, while using social media; and we reserve the right to review all postings and remove any postings not in compliance with our policy.

Postings will comply with the following terms of use.

  1. Individuals may not disclose any confidential information or post any personal health information.
    Your privacy is very important to us. Social media should not be used to contact South Country about claims, medical conditions, products, or services we offer. We will remove any posts containing this type of information.
    If you have specific questions about your health care benefits or bills, contact Member Services at 1-866-567-7242 or by emailing members@mnscha.org.
    If you wish to make a formal complaint, please use the process identified on the South Country website located at https://mnscha.org/members/grievances-and-appeals/.
  2. Posts should be accurate and factual.
    South Country does not represent or guarantee the accuracy of any statement, product, or service claim made here. We are not responsible for content posted by others, and we do not endorse any opinions expressed on this site. If you have questions or concerns about specific content that may affect your health, please contact your health care provider.
  3. Individuals may not make comments that are obscene, defamatory, profane, libelous, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, retaliatory, abusive or hateful.
  4. Mistakes will be acknowledged and corrected as soon as possible.
  5. An authorized Social Media Representative will identify themself as an employee when posting on a South Country social media site.
  6. South Country may reply to comments when appropriate.
  7. Applicable copyright laws will be adhered to.
  8. South Country reserves the right to monitor, prohibit, restrict, block, suspend, terminate, delete or discontinue an individual at any time and for any reason and in its sole discretion.
  9. Content on a South Country social media site will become the property of South Country with irrevocable rights to use for any purpose and in any manner.
  10. Individuals shall not post any content that is confidential or proprietary, nor for the use of political lobbying or advertising.
